Earlier this year I had a showing of my photography in a gallery. I had about 15 pictures, it was very hard to pick just 15 pictures out of all of the photos I’ve taken. These are two of my photos I put on display. As I have said on my blog this is part of a school project about your passion, part of the final is to present your project. A couple oh her people showed when I did, it was very fun and cool to hear back from other people on my photography. I know not many people look at my blog but after this school year I might not be blogging anymore for a few reasons, I won’t have a computer to do it on and not as much time. I will be posting more lately but I will have to stop soon I will post about then when it’s going to happen. 🙂

The Imagine Award

What is The Imagine Award?

I feel very honored getting this award, it’s not much but it’s one of those small things that just make you feel good.
Thanks so much the ! I love all of your recipes and I haven’t had one that doesn’t taste, tasty! If you don’t follow TastyTreats you should she has amazing desserts.

Things I like about tasty treats:
Like I said I haven’t eaten one of your treats that doesn’t taste tasty.
I really love writing before the recipe about what you made.
I like the pictures that you take of the desserts especially when you take it outside (on what it looks like) a wood table it makes it look really cool and a bit rustic.
I love how you make a dessert every week it is always something to look forward to for me to just see a new, interesting, and delicious creation.

“The Imagine Award” is an award created by Jenn Mulherin (who is the writer of the blog “My Fibrotastic Life!”) in October of 2013. This award was made in order to recognize the bloggers who express their passion and dedication towards their blogs through their creativity.

How is creativity found in a blog?

Just like beauty, creativity is in the eye of the beholder. There are many unique ways which bloggers can express their creativity. Creativity can be displayed through:

Words (such as writing fictional stories or real life experiences, poetry, quotes, using metaphors, etc.)
Pictures (this can include photos, comics, computer-drawn pictures, etc.)
The layout of the blog page
The degree of creativity is one of the qualities in a blog which not only draws more readers, but it shows how much the blogger cares about their blog. The caretaking of a blog is like taking care of a plant. In order to keep it healthy and growing, you need to feed the blog with your ideas and give it a lot of love.

Black and white

I haven’t been posting much lately but I’m going to try and post some more so here is my start!

I took this picture about a year ago and just found it on my camera. I downloaded this to my editing app and did some sharpening and other toning but then I tried different black and white settings and ended up really liking this one.

For this picture I experimented with lighting, timers on my camera, and editing. This picture is an experiment with lighting because the sun was about to go down and I’ve always thought that people in pictures with the sun in the back were pretty. Although my plan didn’t work the sun was a bit to low and the picture is taken very low. Then I used a timer on my camera for the first time and it took along time to get a picture I really liked but eventually it really worked. Finally I tried an editing app, it isn’t great but I did get what I wanted to come out. I’m still working on trying to get my editing skills better and I’m going to do more editing so it will be better.

This is a picture of one of my friends. I was trying to take a picture that is of a person so the sun was going down and I thought this was a perfect chance. I took many pictures and finally got one of her in the air. This isn’t the best picture it’s a bit blurry but I love the sun in the back it looks really cool.

I think toads have such cool detail on there skin. I feel I was able to really capture the beautiful colors and shapes and bumps on this toads back. I was very happy with this pictures because I didn’t have to use flash and it was outside (the flash on my camera is really bad). I also think this picture has kind of a 3D look to it.

Bug Perspective

My brothers friend actually gave me the idea for this picture. What he told me to do was to get on the ground and put the camera on the ground with me and take a picture of the flowers. So I thought this was a great idea so I did as he told me to do, I took many pictures but I thought this one was the best out of them all.

Cherry Blossom

I was outside the other day and the cherry blossoms puddles were all on the ground 😦 . But I thought this would be cool to take a picture of, so I tried taking pictures from different angels and tried getting the pedals up close and taking a picture looking up the trunk. Then I thought, well the pedals really pop out and so maybe if I take it from looking down the trunk it would be what I wanted a big focus in the middle and than something blurry but will pop as a background so that’s how I got this picture.

This picture is really cool because it starts at the top where its focused and than as the thorns go down it gets blurrier. I like taking these kinds of pictures because the are very simple to do and look really cool.
